20 Kinds of Pachyderms

The Babirusa, Deer Pigs of Indonesia
Pachyderm (“thick skin”) is a group of large land animals. This was a scientific grouping in the 1700s-1900s, based on several things like skin thickness and the type of hooves each had. Because these animals are genetically unrelated, the Pachyderm group has been split and merged with other groups of animals from the same families.
