The 10 Longest Rivers in the World

The Blue Nile, the White Nile, and the Atbara merge in Khartoum, Sudan to form the Nile River. The Nile runs north through eleven different African nations and ends in Egypt, where it flows into the Mediterranean Sea. Along the way, it drains about 10% of the continent. While some argue that the Amazon is longer, that hasn’t been verified.
